After so much time in the pool and the at the beach, my hair gets faded out! Sometimes it turns this lovely silvery gray (with some pink and purple), and I love it. If I could keep it this way for longer, I would. But one shade lighter makes it weird, so then I have to dye it again.

Our garden
Our garden started putting on these cherry tomatoes just over a month after we planted the plants (we grew them inside until they were an inch tall because the birds here would dig the seeds out of the dirt before they even had a chance to grow). Anyway, they are STILL producing tomatoes, and lots of them. And they are BIG and juicy and we love them!
tea party
Lullaby wanted to have her tea party while Grandma Kim was here, so I was really happy that it worked out so she would be here for it! Here are the pictures she drew of what she wanted her cookies to look like. Birds, butterflies and flowers. She even made one of the bird cookies, with a little help.
Here is the spread! I really LOVE the tea party. I love having a girl who loves it, and I love putting it all together. Lullaby invited her 4 favorite girl friends and everyone came. They all dressed up too, per Lullaby's request. It was very fancy.
Here they all are, fancy and ready for a fun afternoon tea party. They got rings, and made the flower cookies from Grandma, and they made necklaces, and played and played. They each used their "tea party manners" and asked very politely for everything, and held their pinkies up while they drank their tea. Lullaby had a great time. So did the little girls, and so did Grandma and I. I love tea parties.
After they were finished with their snacks, they went upstairs to play. Grandma and I put together the little party bags with a few sugar cookies, candies, a lollipop, a macaroon, and their little crafted flower cookies. It was such a fun day. Lullaby hugged each girl good bye and they have all talked about it several times since then. So much fun!
Makua Beach
We took Grandma up to our favorite sunset beach, Makua. It's just so beautiful. The waves were HUGE though, so we stayed on the beach. The rock, which we usually climb on, and the tide pools that we swim in were covered in waves.
We played with pictures and had fun with that perfect sunset as our backdrop.
As we left the sky got bright with colors. Like I said, this beach has the best sunsets.
