random pics with Grandma

Grandma Stacy loves these little green geckos, so we took lots of pics for her.

The kids loved teaching her some of their favorite games.

Grandma loves flowers, and tried her best to get some pressed to bring back home with her. The humidity made it not work well for her, but she gave it her best shot. Orchids, hibiscus, and ginger grow wild in our yard, so although Stacy was sad when they died and didn't press, they grew right back and none were missed.

Grandma Stacy visits

Grandma Stacy came after not having visited for a month shy of 2 years! What?! It was fun to have her again.  After bringing the kids a few gifties, we went right to the beach.

Paul took Solace and Hawken out with Grandma to snorkel around.

Solace, while climbing a tree, found two tiny gecko eggs. Such a fun discovery. See those two small white dots?!

We headed over the rocks to see if the ocean outside the cove was safe to snorkel, it wasn't, but it was still beautiful!

We headed back to the turtle pools and the kids swam around a bit.

Then out to eat at Kula Shave Ice for a nice afternoon treat! Yes please!

good bye to the kittens

When the kittens turned 7 weeks old, they were litter box trained, eating soft food, and beginning to wean themselves from Grass (the momma cat).  We found a home for Tiny Tim and Boots together. All the kittens ended up being girls, although we weren't sure for a while. This was the day their new owners came to get them. The kids were sad, but happy they would be together.

Even Grass came over for one last cuddle with these two babies. She turned out to be such a good momma.

Then a couple days later we sent Moon Bear on her way to her new home. This sweet girl went to our friends, the Allens! We were so excited since we knew we could still see her a bunch. Matix cuddled her while we waited for them to come over and pick her up, and she fell asleep in his arms. She's such a lovey kitten!
Moon Bear is now named Mochi and is loving life at the Allen's house. They love her so much. We couldn't have picked anyone better to take care of her. The other two kittens, Tiny Tim (now Presley) and Boots (now Coco) and doing really well too. Sadly, they both had ear mites and fleas, but their new family takes really good care of them too. They are friends of friends, so we likely won't see too much of them, but they have occasionally sent us cute pictures of the kittens a couple times. The last kitten, Whiskers, had a home, but it fell through, and she was still nursing anyway. The days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and now we've decided to KEEP her. She isn't like Grass at all, she loves us and cuddles and comes to her name. She is so wonderful.

random pics

Morning cuddles is a DAILY thing we do. I love it so much.

Play date with the Anderson kids. Fun, as always. They played video games, jumped on the trampoline, rode bikes and, of course, decorated cookies.

Lullaby really loves her ballet class with Ms. Sarah. She's learning lots and having fun. I love seeing her enjoy herself so much.

We found "Jonny Pops" at Target, and Hawken had to take a picture and send it to his bestie Jonny.
