random pics

Playing basketball, or tag or something fun after scouts is done is so much fun for Matix and Hawken.

A butterfly landed on Matix's hand, of course it did.  He's magic with animals and bug alike.

Surprise party for my friend Cherie at a Relief Society activity. So fun.

Our stray cat Grass got pregnant (again!) and got really lovey with us.  In the second picture you can see her stomach popping up. She's usually very skinny.

Solace did all these rhyme matches on his own and was so proud of himself he asked for a picture.

Dance class for Lullaby and Solace are back to back, so there's lots of waiting. Lullaby reads books, and Solace writes her notes.

This poor kitty gets more than she wants of loves. She is so patient with all the kids.

Matix used some of his birthday money to buy himself a quiver of arrows for the bow that Ethan gave him.

We walked back to see the small bit of land that Liesl had cleared to find it beginning to be swallowed by the jungle again. It happens so fast here!

Lullaby had the world's smallest splinter and she finally dug it out. It took her three days, but she did it.

Using trash to make costumes is an all day adventure. These kids are so creative.

Paul's friend Erik made this hilarious video of one of the free diving trips they've done. They get to out pretty often and they both have fun.

birthday treats

We brought cookies for some friends to celebrate Matix and Lullaby at Coconut Island. So fun. A few friends came and they spent the day eating, swimming, cliff jumping and climbing trees.

open water shark dive

Matix's birthday experience was awesome! He and Paul went with Erik and Lyla, and Erik's brother. They got to see a couple sharks, and lots of fish. Erik is a shark expert, so I knew they were in good hands.

They so much fun, and were totally wiped out afterward. When they got off the boat, they passed out on the drive back to the beach where Erin and I were with the rest of the kids.

We played at Beach 69 while we waited for the divers to return to us. Such a beautiful beach.

Then they finally came back and we played together until dinner before heading back to our side of the island. Such a fun birthday experience.

Then we played prank on Grandma Stacy and sent her the following pictures, but it didn't go over well, and she thought it was real, even though we sent her the reveal picture at the end. Sorry Grandma, Matix didn't really get bitten by a shark. He's fine.
