family dinner party

Robin had everyone over for dinner and it was quite the party! We tried a big group shot, and this is what we got. So fun!

 And a dad and daughter photo, as usual.

Toward the end, the kids found all the costumes and tried on everything! So fun.

distant relatives

My dad was invited to his cousin Judy's house, and we all got to go and meet some of those distant relatives of ours. Judy was a lovely hostess and we had a great time! We ate lots of food, played games, talked and even looked at Judy's family history book. 

We also found out that she and Lullaby share a birthday! What are the chances?!

fun

Lots of fun with cousins. Hunter played catch, and tag, and hide-and-seek a million times. Then Lullaby taught Mackenzie how to spin her poi balls, and Matix taught Hunter and Russell how to use a make-shift fire knife. 

A huge wind storm blew down lots of trees, including one in my dad's backyard.  It knocked down the phone lines too. Paul cut down the branches with his assistant, Hunter.

And I got to cuddle with this baby. So sweet.

 After a while, most of the adults went to First Friday and we had a cousin sleepover at my dad's house. My dad got lots of movies and popcorn and other fun sleepover things for the kids, and they had a great time! Chloe, Russell, Rory and I made cookies. And eventually we got all the kids to sleep. It was harder than you'd think.

green meadows farm

The last time the kids and I were in Wisconsin, we went to Green Meadows Farm, and so we went again with lots of the same family, and some new ones. So fun. 

There is so much to do and see there. Everything is hands-on and so much fun!
