I love it that she lets me do her hair. Lullaby has very specific hair styles she likes and I love trying to do it just right.

One morning a tiny feral spitting mean kitten got into our house. She was awful and mean and wild. She ran around the room and scratched and bit me and Matix until we could capture him and release him back into the wild.

Lullaby made her invitations for her tea party and got them in the mail. She had so much fun making them.

We saw the smoke from a house fire in our neighborhood right over the neighbors trees. It was scary but not too close.

The kids love our homeschool group in Volcano. The skatepark is so fun, even without skateboards.

Lots of painting has been happening around here. There's still lots to do on the house. But it's all trim and finishing work now. Ros was busy caulking and painting the ceiling while I worked around all the extra stuff in the tv room getting the walls painted.

I love all the colors in our house. Orange, green, blue, purple, yellow... So fun.

A little peek through the green into the new cleared area... If you look closely you can see the kids playing on a log.

Early morning hammock swinging is one of Sully's favorite thing to do. The temperate weather here makes for lots of playing.

More early morning playing. Solace is getting really good on his skateboard. He can turn it and jump on and off really easily now.

Sully boy is so small in the front seat. He loves to pretend to drive. Makes for easy entertainment when Paul runs into a store.

I was invited to learn how to weave lauhala into bracelets. It's a traditional Hawaiian bracelet and I was really excited to learn. It is harder than you think, but really lovely when done right. I made myself a bracelet and I really love it!

Sometimes we let the kids stay awake until it's dark. This is a rarity because it stays bright past their bedtimes, but they love it.

Matix, since he's 10, gets to stay awake for an additional 30 minutes after the little kids go to bed. He cherishes this time, and we usually play games, watch movies, read books, or just talk. It's nice to get alone time with him.

We spent the day at Honoli'i on one of Paul's days off. To our delight we found a tree fort that someone had built. It was just there, empty, waiting for us! So fun!

Ward movie night was great, and the popcorn cookies were a hit.

Swishy and Snow had their birthdays! We've had them both for a year now! We baked them pet friendly cookies and they both loved them! They were peanut butter flavored. We sang happy birthday and gave them their treats. We're so happy we have them.

Lullaby loves to pick flowers and bring them to us as a present. Sweet thing.

More progress in the yard. It is ever changing!

Surprise package in the mail for the kids from Grandpa Chuck, Auntie Heather and Chloe! Thanks for all the new Legos!
