Working on the blog in my bed while the kids clean up from the beach and I got a little helper.
The boys had to send in pictures of themselves for a trip to Oahu with the church, for their IDs. Cuties.
Early beach day, and Paul lost his fin. Then he walked down the beach later and found it! So amazing.
Sweet sleepy kitten Mousey.
Snow Baby is back at the vet's office, holding her title as most expensive pet.
I flew back to Wisconsin for Alex and Rachel's wedding, but it was a LONG few flights.
We got straight to work going through some things at the apartment.
I got to hang out with Bradley for a little bit, and planned to take him out to eat, but he fell asleep before he could eat anything. He was happy to wake up to food though.
Alexandra and I did our nails. It took her seconds to get them all put on, clearly the professional between the two of us.
.5 pictures are always so funny.
Pictures from the wedding. It was HOT and we were directly in the sun, but everyone was SO happy. Jolie was the officiant and did a great job. Alex and Rachel were so in love, we all felt it. It was great.
At the reception, they played a game that was lottery style. You could buy a wingspan length of tickets and then a ticket would be drawn at the end with half of the money going back to the ticket holder, and half for the honeymoon fund. I bought lots, hoping to be able to gift my half back to the couple, but I lost to Hans.
Liesl caught the bouquet and now we are all just waiting for that announcement to come that she's engaged.
While I was at the wedding, Paul took the big boys to Oahu for their Stake Youth Devotional. They had a great time and even went to a dance one of the nights.
I got to spend a ton of time with these two.
The next morning after the wedding, everyone went for breakfast. They had these shirts made that said one of Alex's phrases from when he was a baby, "Nay Nay Mama" with a very cleavage heavy picture of Rachel. We all laughed and laughed and when Rachel saw the shirt, she laughed too.
I took Russell and Alexandra to Sephora to get a few makeup things they needed. I love being an auntie.
Louie showed Alexandra how to properly massage a foot. Jolie loved being the test subject. Then he made us some fancy drinks, thanks!
Alexandra had her temporary driver's license and was able to drive me to the store! So wild. She did a great job.
My mom and I got to go out to eat lots and play games lots. It was really nice spending time with her.
Jolie had the camper, and left a day or two before I did, so this last sister dinner was just us 5.
Alexandra drew a hear on my cheek, but when I cleaned it off it rubbed off some of my skin, ouch.
Robin was getting rid of some of her clothes, and I got this outfit. So cute! Thanks Robin!
Another date, yes please.
Saying goodbyes and eating at Kewpee's.
Working on the puzzle she got for Christmas, and pretending to be party animals.
Louie showed me all his big fancy machinery. He has so many toys. Plus a few good scares.
The flight back home was long, and stopped in Denver for a quick layover. I love flying home.
When I got there, we went out for Mermaids and Kauai Juice. They missed me.
Back to the beach for another sunny boogie board day.
Date with Matix, out for Panda Express, Pokemon cards, Starbucks and cake pops. Yes please.
Another beautiful beach day.
The kitchen had drawer pulls that I bought from Etsy, that looked like folded paper origami, but wasn't very durable so I ordered new ones to replace them, that are ceramic and a lot stronger. Plus they have cute little mushrooms on them.
