A while back we decided to start "Pizza Party Wednesdays" with the Allens. It doesn't happen every Wednesday, but we do alternate houses. The host house always makes the pizza and sides and drinks, and the guests make the dessert. It's been really fun for us all. The kids all get along great and so do the grown ups. Yes please.

random pics
We use all the free help we can get. Solace, as it turns out, is a great roof rust spot painter. This was the fast part of the roof painting.
Swishy, is always "helping" with everything, even puzzle building.
Mean mom alert, I made the kids wash all the Legos. Box 1 = dirty Legos, box 2 = soapy water, box 3 = clean water. It took a long time, but they're all clean now.
Snuggle kitty strikes again. Also, yes, I'm wearing Solace's shirt, it must have been laundry day.
She often goes to snuggle with Paul after she's done with me. So cute.
Fires and s'mores are our favorites. Yes please.
I have such nice friends. These little cookie cutters were gifted to me from my friend Cherie, just because, and surprisingly, I didn't have these yet! Woohoo!
We decided to paint our lower roof with white silicone roof paint, but this is as far as I got alone because we picked the rainiest month to do it in and every time it cleared up and the roof almost dried, it would rain again. So it sat like this with a little white section for weeks! Dang it!
This is as wet as it got. Can you see the wet footprints on the ground? Just because of how wet the air was! So crazy.
Paul went to Utah to see a specialist for his throat and voice troubles and flew first class. He was so excited about everything that came with it. I got pictures of the food, the reclined seat, and everything else. So funny. The specialists gave Paul some new exercises and a lot of hope at their appointment. They think he can easily make a full recovery with these additional techniques.
Matix got his first temple recommend so that he could go into the temple! So exciting!
Whiskey got her own collar and name tag and promptly wriggled out of it and lost it the day after I took this picture. Stinker. It's somewhere in the jungle, never to be seen again.
Matix has caught so many birds in his bare hands, it's crazy. This one, he thought was sick, so he wrapped it up and tried to convince me to keep it. But of course, as soon as he let go, the bird flew away.
I was reading and this little one came in and cuddled with me in my bed, not her usual cuddle spot, but I'll take it.
The recycling here is done at the transfer station. Solace and Matix worked to collect bottles and cans for a while and when they turned them in, they made lots of money. Solace told everyone who would listen that he was rich!
I found this TINY gecko on the stairs, it must have just barely hatched.
Solace dressed himself for church, and I'm not even mad.
Matix and his age group of boys in the church had a meeting at our house with Paul planning for the activities they wanted to do for the next couple of months. The meeting was 3 hours long and dPaul has the patience of a saint. They ate through 5 pizzas and a million other snacks, and all I can say is, I'm glad I only have 3 sons.
Paul fell asleep on the couch with me, but I got caught taking his picture, so I got kisses instead.
Trying out all the new games and toys from Christmas lasted for MONTHS. So fun.
My old phone decided to break, it got an LCD bleed, and wasn't worth getting fixed, so I got a new one. Good bye old phone.
Pretty picture of the house.
Snuggle kitty with Hawken, so sweet. And again in the bucket in the kids room, perfect sleeping places, right?
Here is a silly cartoon that is way too close to life for us right now. So funny.
New Year!
We stayed up late listening to fireworks and cuddling our scared pets and watching movies. We let the kids stay up as late as they could, they made it to just after 8pm, sweet things.
The next morning we headed to the sea cliffs to see the first sunrise of 2020. The Andersons and the Estradas joined us and despite the clouds, we got to see a lovely sunrise. Some other sunrise watchers brought some fireworks too.
We tried to get a jumping picture, but this is as good as we got, since we had kids try to take the picture. Ha ha ha.
Then just before leaving, we got to see a double rainbow! Woohoo!
Happy 2020!
