Here he is, Dr. Berg, on his LAST day of residency. Ever. We are SO SO excited! This has been such a long hard road for him, and for all of us. I am so proud of all his hard work, dedication, perseverance, and strength. He is an amazing doctor and has been trained well.
The kids are beyond excited to get out of here and on to our next adventure. They will be the most excited once Paul starts work and they find out that Daddy will be home for EVERY dinner, and Daddy will be there for EVERY school activity, and Daddy will be home for EVERY breakfast, and Daddy won't fall asleep in the car every time we drive… Paul, you did it! We knew you could! We love you!! Now there won't be any blog posts until we are out and settled in Hawaii in the next few weeks. Yay!

life
This school year has flown by. I spent more time in the car than I wanted to, but the kids all had good experiences. Here are some pictures from regular life stuff. Playing at the park after school with friends, and Matix showing everyone up!
Hawken and Stella, best friends, and they both earned citizenship awards and got to wear whatever they wanted to a few days at school.
Playing at the Flores' house after school, a very typical day.
Parked in the drive up line at Matix's school so he can be the first kids picked up, and I could race over to Hawken's school which was let out at the same time but was a few miles away… It was a circus for sure. Solace and Lullaby got to have some fun times playing with each other though while they waited.
26 hour shifts no more!
The days are numbered for Paul to be THIS exhausted from work. He has worked SO hard for SO long. I cannot believe he will be done with residency in just a few days! We are SO EXCITED and SO PROUD!
Hawk's friends
Hawken has made some really great friends at school this year. I think I might miss some of them as much as he does. :)
art
All the electrical boxes in Houston are painted. Each one is different and reminds me so much of Atlanta. I know it's not particularly interesting, but we like it and want to remember it.

snapchat
We super love playing with the filters on Snapchat, they're so much fun! Here are video clips and pictures from that app. I know it's a lot, but they are just SO funny!
the long drive
Poor Lullaby and Solace had to be woken up from naps everyday to get the big boys from their schools. Very often they just fell asleep again in the car. Sweet things.

blue bonnet pictures!
After living here for several springs, we finally got pictures of the kids in the Blue Bonnets (Texas' state flower). They grow wild along the sides of roads for a few weeks each spring and then disappear again. Paul scouted out this spot on a bike ride one day. I was frustrated with the kids and their lack of attention during the pictures (except Lullaby, she was very into this), but I think the pictures turned out great! Thanks mostly to Paul for his patience and help. :) I love these pictures of the kids SO much!
I had LOTS that looked like this… Not quite was I was looking for. Oh well.
Lullaby loved it. I especially love her serious face. She makes it a lot, but not very often in pictures.
We even had a minor costume change. I have the prettiest daughter.
And I love these last minute pics of all 4 kiddies. I love my kiddies!
After the pictures, we went for a walk along the bayou. We dropped rocks in the water from the bridge and watched the fish, and picked some more wild flowers.
On our way back home we saw about a million more people trying to get family pics, and maternity pics, and engagement pics, all in the same area, just across the bayou from where we were. It's a Texas tradition!
