Lullaby helped make the cookies for her tea party this year. I tried making the background a "shabby chic" look, which looked great to me, but the girls asked why the frosting was all broken... Ha ha ha.
My dad sent me the shamrock cookie cutters I needed. Now I'm all set up for next year! Plus lots of others, thanks Dad!
Changed my hair color to try and get rid of the pink, but it didn't quite work. Oh well. I love the red-orange!
We went to see Anianiokala.... The Hawaiian version of Annie. Our neighbors and friends own the dance studio and their son, Malu, was in several dances. It was so much fun to watch, but started at bed time... Everyone was tired by the end of it, and all the kids, except Matix fell asleep on the short drive home.
Lullaby needed to research an American president and make a poster including several facts about him. She did a lot of it by herself. It was fun to see her do it.
Fun at Option's Day. The kids built bridges out of popsicles sticks in teams, and each bridge was tested to see how much weight it could hold. It was a really fun experiment. Matix's team and Hawken's team were the leaders.
Beach day with the family. I love lazy beach days, especially when it includes ice cream and friends.
Lots of friends joined us at the beach, and when Lyla got hurt the kids all crowded around her and put on skits to entertain her. Matix held her hand. He's such a good friend.
