random pics

Decorations from Solace in our bathroom.

I finally figured out what to do with all the beautiful driftwood I've been collecting from the beaches and taught myself to macrame.

We went to Lullaby's friends house for a birthday party. So fun. Happy birthday Ginger!

We had a dinner date with the Allen family and made s'mores first, and dinner later. So fun.

Play date at Corbin's house ended in a silly string fight. So much fun.

Lego creation. Hawken was really proud of this one. It may still be together.

Sully's early morning Legos in my bed with me. It's half cuddles and half playing.

Fun at Volcano park with our homeschool group.

Sunshine cuddles with anyone who will lay in the hammocks outside. She loves to be held. So sweet.

Liesl's road

Liesl hired her driveway cutter to start in March. Her driveway is on the corner of our lot, going inward. It took a few days to get it cleared, and each day it looks closer and closer to where she'll be able to actually build on! We are beyond excited!

Her lot is cleared mostly, and we found out we have a macadamia nut farm on our property! What?! Just beyond a small fence we found are at least 100 mac nut trees. They are all overgrown and shaded out by vines and bigger trees, but could be maybe brought back to life. I love our Hawaii adventures, even just in our own backyard. Here you can see the fence.

Kona Trip

We headed to Kona again for a beach day and a dentist trip. The drive is long but it makes for lots of creativity in the car.

When we got to Hapuna Beach it was crazy crowded, but we ran into two different families we know. It was really fun. The kids played in the waves and in the sand, then we headed out to Costco and the dentist.

At Costco, Matix rescued a puppy from getting hit by a car in the parking lot.  We carried him into the store, hoping to locate the owner, and a man walked up to us who was the owner! So lucky! Apparently he had left the windows cracked too wide and the puppy got out of his truck. He was very grateful and called Matix an angel.
