Amy's dad took us all out on his boat for a fun afternoon of tubing and swimming and knee boarding. Amy is a pro and taught us how it's done.
Out to eat again at one of the best pizza places, ever. Yes please.
Our last adventure in Utah was heading down to Mona Springs to swing on the rope swings. The day was nice and warm and the water was icy cold! After a while the Hunts brought out the paddle boards too. I didn't get in the water as the bottoms of my feet had completely split open by then. Utah is too dry for my skin! I had fun taking pictures though and everyone else had fun in the water. It was a lovely last day.
Koa fed her babies standing up which made me laugh and wince every time I saw it.
No pictures of our goodbyes. Everyone was crying. Jonny hid under the coffee table sobbing. Solace yelled and cried the whole way to the airport. We loved our Utah trip. And by the time we finally got on the plane everyone was wiped out.
The trip was great, and we were so happy to be able to do as much as we did. Mini adventures were had every day. Yes please. Here's a video of the whole thing, so fun.
Notice the time stamp and read the last message... At 6:43 when we landed in California, I got a message that our flight was departing 34 minutes earlier at 6:09... Obviously we didn't make the flight and had to stay overnight in California. The airlines put us up in a fancy hotel, and gave us tons of food vouchers. We ate like kings and caught our flight the next day. Thank goodness Liesl was going to stay an extra couple days anyway, so the extra day didn't mess her up at all.
Getting a little silly in the airport while we waited and waited and waited for our last flight.
