Here's a MONSTER big post of random pics and a couple videos from March. Paul becoming a cat person before my very eyes...
We went to the cliffs and set up a spot in the forest for us to read our book together. We love to read a chapter book together. This is when we were on the 5th Harry Potter.
I had an ice cream date with Solace. I love this little cutie.
Sometimes we go for fast food and bring Swishy. He likes plain cheeseburgers. Here he is watching the lady at the window, and waiting for his burger.
Sweet snuggle kitty loves to sleep in Swishy's favorite spots, which means he patiently waits on the ground.
We did an activity called "Polish Your Testimony", Sina led it, and we all shared experiences that have helped our testimonies grow. It was so sweet. Then we polished our nails. Everyone loved it.
Legos have all moved into the kids room, and when Paul comes home they always play. Legos are the best toys, ever.
Imaginext toys are still a favorite toy too. It's been a fave since Matix was 3. Crazy!
Sometimes Swishy comes with us to the play ground. The kids eat a picnic lunch and he stands guard, as usual.
Then a stop at the dog park, and he stands guard over me, instead of playing... Silly thing.
Hawken's shirt perfectly matched the flowers, so we had to get a picture.
On March 14th, we celebrated Pi Day with some pie, yum! 3.14 never tasted so good!
Game playing is serious business in this house. We have lots of homeschool games, and lots of board games.
Sometimes my hairdresser comes to my house and does my hair even without me even leaving the bed! So fancy.
Sometimes Lullaby's art is so different from her usual style. I love to see it change and develop.
St. Patty's day treats from the grandparents. Thanks!
We spotted another kitty, not any of ours, and not any of Grass's kittens either. He was terrified of me, but had a mouse in his mouth, so I love him. We named him Mouser, but didn't see much of him after this.
Grass and her mini-me Whiskey.
Whiskey is such a cuddle girl. I'm so glad she loves me.
Another trip to the dog park, and Swishy stayed by me the entire time. He's a people dog, for sure.
Solace spent hours this particular morning on his skateboard. He's really good at keeping entertained by himself.
The kids knew I was running to the grocery store and Matix and Lullaby both wrote lists for me. I love how they spell and what they want to eat. So cute.
March marked the beginning of shutdown for our island because of Covid-19. The shelves were quickly emptied of some of the things we use. It was so weird to see how different things were in only a few days.
Solace's skateboard flipped up, during a trick, and broken his chin open. Lots of blood and tears later, and finally got patched up. Poor thing. No stitches though.
New dice game, which they love. It's called Tenzie, and is so fun.
Sleeping positions... How do cats get comfy like this?
Window coloring and drawing is a favorite activity of the kids. They love it, and make a total wreck of the house.
Paul got hit on by a guy at his work and later realized he was wearing a rainbow shirt... Ha ha ha.
Trampoline fun.
Lullaby made these delicious blueberry, apple, and cherry turnovers and they tasted great!
The public schools closed down, but started giving away free breakfast and lunch. We tried it out a couple times, and it was fun to get free food.
Some homeschooling fun at home.
Sometimes at night we come to our bed and find a stowaway. Sweet thing.
We headed to a lovely, mostly secluded beach on the south shore of the island for a day in the sun. We mostly explored, the water was chilly, and then the Andersons came. So fun!
Series of Sully the ninja! Look out!
There was also this amazing climbing tree! Lovely!
The roots were exposed and full of rollie pollies! Is it rollie pollie? rolly pollie? rolly polly?
Solace and Theo have a best friends handshake, that includes face slapping (not my favorite), but they love it. Silly boys.
