We tried to go paddle boarding at Causey reservoir, like we had done a different time, but we were stopped because we didn't have life vests. Bummer.
So we drove to a different place, called Pineview, and we were allowed to swim there without life vests. Yay! The beaches here are great for Utah, but not anything even close to Hawaii.
Getting new books means very quiet car rides. Yes please.
Our closet here is bigger, but we still needed to buy several bins to store everything,.

Making time to connect with old Hawaii friends has made this move easier on the kids. We had great friends we had to leave behind, so connecting with them on FaceTime (even with silly filters) is a must.

Visiting with Grandma and Grandpa on the day they got to meet Cora, their newest great-granddaughter. So sweet.
Finally getting new hair in Utah. It had grown out all except for the tips. I found a new salon, and told her to run wild. She did, and I was so happy.
On July 23rd, Utah celebrates the pioneers. We celebrated with sparklers and fireworks.
A small bird made a little mud nest on our front porch. It was so fun to watch.
Dale and Vanessa came for a visit and I was surprised when I woke up to see several other children in my house eating breakfast and no adults. We headed up to Tibble Fork Reservoir again, for paddle boarding with them, and our friends the Hunt family. It was a busy day and the kids all had a great time.
Hawken loves to make waffles, and asked for a waffle maker for his birthday. He's such a cool kid.
Paul took us on a little hike near Grandma and Grandpa's house just before going to celebrate Grandpa's 83rd birthday.
The hike was hot and mostly in the sun. We didn't have water, so the little stream was a welcome find at the end of the hike.
Then to see Grandpa Berg for his birthday. Lots of people came to celebrate our favorite great-grandpa. He turned 83 this year. It was a nice party and we all had fun.
We went to spend the day at Eagle Park, swing on the rope swings and even spotted some owls.

The boys all sleep together in this room, since Lullaby has her own room now. Swishy helped me make the beds.

Grandpa Chuck, Auntie Jolie, Alexandra and Bradley all came for a surprise visit. We've had more visitors here than anywhere else we've lived. Wild. They came with gifts. Thanks guys!
