I got a late birthday present from Laurel, and as usual, she got a good one! Berenstain/Berenstein Bears conspiracy presents. So fun!

Paul did a million different projects around the house. Bike rack in the garage was first.

Out to breakfast with Amy, I got cake and she got an actual breakfast.
We drove up into the mountains to see the fall leaves changing. It was in October, so a little late, but still beautiful!
I started going to yoga, and one of my favorite classes to take is the sound healing class. She uses all kinds of instruments, including this gong! So fun!

Matix has been working on learning to play the piano for a while now, and is still loving this app, Simply Piano. He really loves it.
I bought some art prints for the wall. I love them. I think it's good to show more accurate depictions of what Christ probably looked like, so the first is a print of Christ with lots of children, and the second is a print of Heavenly Mother, pregnant with the whole world. Really cool idea.
We went to one of Mason's soccer games to cheer him on. He is SO talented, it was a fun game to watch.
I went with Great Grandma Berg to one of her "Daughters of the Utah Pioneers" meetings and it was so cute to see her and all her friends, and learn a little of Utah's history. I don't have pioneer heritage, but the stories are powerful even if you're not related.
October means it's time for scary movies. We had a snack and watched Double Double Toil and Trouble with the Olsen twins, from when I was little. So fun.
Paul got kidney stones, and when they went to remove them, they found he had a mass, and needed it biopsied. It was a little scary at the time, but it wasn't malignant, so we were so grateful. Plus Paul is super fun when he wakes up from surgery. He cried and was so sweet on me. I loved it.
Hawken and his new friend Broden went to hunt for metal. They didn't find much, but they loved the hunt even still.
We participated in the Utah Taste Off, and got macaroni and cheese from the top 6 restaurants in Utah, and got to taste them and rate them. Our favorite was from Zulu, an African fusion restaurant. It was really good, and totally new flavors.
Lots of facetime for these two besties. The hardest part of leaving Big Island was leaving the friends we had made.

Matix, and his friends Marquis and Dallin, went to CornBelly's for a day of fun. It was a drop off thing, and I was so excited that he was ready for it. They had fun, and I picked them all up at the end.
Sully's best friend from his class is named Morgan, and her big brother is Brody in Matix's class. They both came over for a play day, and it was so nice.
Sully and Morgan made some chocolate covered pretzels to share with the others, and we gathered up a few more friends to help eat!
I love the way my porch looks when some of the neighborhood kids come over. Busy, loud, happy, fun.
The fireplace has been perfect for warming up after a cold day.
Grandpa Chuck sent some money and specific directions to get a few fancy caramel apples. They were great!
Our neighborhood is so fun, we got "Boo-ed" several times, and passed it along. I love our neighborhood. So family friendly and welcoming.
The moon over the lake as we were leaving our neighborhood was amazing. The pictures didn't do it justice.
Leftovers from pumpkin pie on the floor watching another Halloween movie, yes please. I love this time of year.
Hawken needed help getting into his costume at school for the parade, so I brought it just before the parade. Such a great costume! Thanks again to Jolie.

Matix's teacher, Mr. Brady, dressed up as "Middle Aged Matix" for his costume. He wore board shorts, a flower aloha shirt, a long blond wig and sunglasses. So so so funny!

The Lopes family came for a visit and one of the days we went to visit a pumpkin farm. There were lots of activities to do, and even the adults had fun.
We love having their family here and seeing the kids play together and reconnect. We've been friends with them for 15 years.
Melissa bought Hawken what he had been asking for, a waffle maker. Then they made waffles one morning for everyone.
