the doc

Paul got his first piece of mail, addressed to him as “Dr. Paul Berg M.D.”  Yes, it was from his mom, but I think it totally counts. :)

Paul works so hard at everything he does. We are all SO proud of you Paul. You’re amazing.

zoo

Phil and Paul both had a day off so we took advantage of our zoo family pass and went.  The boys were excited for all the extra attention. Phil bought us an upgrade on our pass, which means we can now get 2 extra adults in and 3 extra kids in (besides our family). Great huh?!  Thanks Phil!

Watching for the train. Matix's favorite thing to do at the zoo.

Attempt at a family shot…

Lullaby was getting in on the action. She is getting more and more interactive and wants to do what we are doing. I love this stage.

The petting zoo was only for boys this day. The girls stayed out to have a snack. Well, Lullaby had a snack. :)  I put Phil in charge of pictures and was pleasantly surprised with the pictures he took. Thanks Phil!

Lullaby fell asleep in the reptile house. Seriously, she is the world's best baby.

We were loving watching the gorillas. Probably the coolest exhibit at the Atlanta zoo. It’s huge. The gorillas have tons of space to roam and climb and be gorillas.  The mommas and the babies are our favorites. This day we got to see a few. If you look close, the gorilla in the middle has a tiny baby riding on her back.  So fun.  Then of course, the boys wanted to be gorillas.

Group shot before we left. Matix was refusing to look at the camera. Oh well. :)  It was a great day.

kites!

On our way out the door to go to a park, someone knocked… Hmm… It was the mail lady with a big package for the kids. They were so excited we had to open it right away.

It was from Grandma Stacy and it was filled with lots of goodies.  New swim suits and a few girly cars for Lullaby.  Lollipops, clothes, toys and KITES for the boys. It was PERFECT timing. It was a windy day already, so we took the kites and tried them out!

The boys LOVED flying kites. It was just windy enough to make them fly, but not too windy to pull them away. Perfect.

Lullaby was a great observer.

After flying kites, we went to the playground.  Such a memorable day.
Thanks again Grandma Stacy!!! Getting surprise packages is the BEST! :)

love

Fun day at the park. I love our days like this. Time seems to go in slow motion. We watch our boys running in every direction, playing and laughing and soaking up life.  Lullaby is always close by, curious and learning about the world.  Paul and I are so happy, and we love that we get to be parents to these three.

I am so happy that Paul isn’t a “stand back and watch” kind of dad. He is always right in the mix. Such a great father.
