I love our backyard, so much. There is still some yard work to do, but nothing in comparison to our Big Island yard.
Watching the kids playing with new friends is so fun. They were worried about making friends, but have done great!

As it turns out, mountain biking isn't really my thing. Paul and I went for a ride, and the views were nice, but the cactus in my arms and hands were not.

We finally got Matix a bed. All the kids had mattresses on the floor until the frames came. So cute. Whiskey helped with making the bed and taking the pictures.
A childhood friend of Paul's lives here in Utah and we met up with him and his family at a park. The kids all played and got to know each other while Paul caught up with his friend. It was a really nice day.
Covid numbers dropped in Utah, but spiked in Arizona. It's been weird to watch the numbers fluctuate all over the place.

The Hunts puppies this year were especially adorable. This one was my favorite, and I named him Pancakes, although he got a different name when he went to live with his actual family.
The Walpoles (who live in Colorado now) and the Warners (who live farther north in Utah), who we knew from Dominica all met up with us for a visit in a park to place some kickball and catch up. It had been so long since we saw everyone.
Then we redid some pictures of Matix and Lexi, the oldest of these kids on the island. They were great sports, and we plan to do this again in another 10 years, ha ha ha. Here they are then, and now:

Before they left back to Colorado, we were able to see Lexi and her softball team play a game. It was fun to watch her and cheer her on.
