Hawk had a dream about Grandpa Chuck and woke up and saw this on our box of fruit. We love finding little reminders of him.

While shopping I saw a tag with Jolie's name. Super hard to find her name anywhere, so I sent her a pic.
While driving out of the neighborhood, I saw these two dogs, and recognized them as my friends, who lives pretty far from where we found them. I called to them, and they jumped in the car and we drove them home.

Homeschooling started and the kids loved getting started. They each got their own laptop and work on the Time4Learning program online. Matix and Hawk also did the Skill Struck (coding) program online.
Out to lunch with Amy, always a treat.
We tried out having the piano in the living room, but it was too much of a distraction for the kids trying to use their laptops at the kitchen table. It was moved back into the meditation room after about a week. Although, I did love hearing their little voices singing along.

We went to Lagoon with the Andersons and some of their family one of the days they were here visiting. We had so much fun with them, as always. Eventually, their family left and it was just us, like old Hawaii times. Yes please. Solace is so brave and rides on everything he's tall enough for, even the scary looking stuff.
I love that Paul is THIS kind of dad. He and Lullaby laid down right on the walking path in the middle of the amusement park to look at the sunlight dance through the leaves. He's the best.
More rides. I think we did every ride there at least once that day.

Solace wanted to be measured in every line, just to be sure.
After a long day, the sky clouded up and the winds started blowing HARD, Matix found this umbrella so funny. He needed a picture. He felt like it was a prop in a cartoon it was so badly misshapen from the wind.
We took cover at Zeppe's and had some treats, but then it started raining and POURING and got very cold!
So Paul got some large trash bags from one of the employees that he befriended and we wore them like ponchos and ran back through the park to get our stuff and leave. There is never a dull moment when we're hanging out. The Andersons make life so adventurous.
The rain even let up a little on the way back to our stuff and the kids got to do one last ride.
A few days later, and our last Anderson adventure on this trip was to Cascade Springs up in the mountains. It was a little loop hike, and so lovely. It was nice to walk and talk and say our goodbyes. We love all our time with them.
This was prep for a yoga picture Erin wanted to get while hanging from that branch. Her studio is doing really well in Hilo!
