June was a busy month! Paul went on two boys trips back to back with some of his friends and had a blast. They went on a white water rafting and bike trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and then to southern Utah to Bryce Canyon and Goblin Valley for another bike trip!
We spent tons of time at the Lehi pool with friends. This time, I got some baby snuggle time in too. So sweet.
Another pool day, we grabbed some extra Hunt kids and had the pool almost completely to ourselves!
Date night with Paul to see a few of our favorite bands. Soja was our favorite that night. So fun!

June had nearly perfect weather, which is hard for Utah. Watermelons in the back yard, yes please. The cats joined us for some pets.
Paul took the older boys to a church camp with the rest of the Young Men and Women from the ward. They had a really great time. They had practiced their skits, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Lots of fun in the water, and learning new skills, and playing with friends.
Our homeschool friends invited us over to bake with their TINY cooking things. We brought cookies to decorate for dessert, and then we baked tiny pizza while we waited for the cookie icing to harden up.
Kitten cuddles. They are sometimes more lovey with us when we find them outside.
Lullaby's hair style was a braided bun, just off to the side. Such a pretty little girl I have!
Breakfast for dinner at Great Grandma Berg'a house on a Sunday. Then we walked around her neighborhood for the walkabout and the kids got cotton candy at one of the stops.
Getting out of the car, I noticed a little bit of white in one of the front bushes, and what do you know... There was a kitty in there!

Charmaine, Heidi and I planned to prank the husbands and get them to all wear matching clothes to a date night we had planned. We got the shirts and left them for Heidi. Heidi's husband ended up not wearing the shirt, but Charmaine and I got ours to wear the shirt and then we all met at the movie theater. It was so funny, even just with the two of them!
Charmaine snuck me this picture of Barry wearing the shirt, and I sent her one of Paul in it too. We were all giggles.
June is a great month for the roses in the back yard. So so so pretty. I picked them all the time and brought them in for fresh bouquets in the house.

Hawken is SO good at game playing and strategy! I love to play games with him because I don't have to hold back. I can try my hardest and I only sometimes win!
We got to go to a lot of parks in June because every time we had a house showing, we went. We had lots of showings, but the interest rates were scary for people in our price bracket.
We lowered our price, twice, first to 775K, then to 750K, since we bought it for around 500K, we were fine with whatever we sold it for. Then we got an offer! It was so exciting. The family who made an offer, and eventually moved in, was from Colorado and were so nice to work with. Even though an offer was made in June, it was still a long time before everything was finalized. Closing seems to take forever.
Solace and I went on a date to Olive Garden and had a great time. We talked and ate our weight in breadsticks and played games on the iPad at the table. I love this little guy!
Our lavender really put on a show this summer and June brought lots of bees to pollinate!
Since we put the house on the market, and wanted to move back to Hawaii, we knew we better start on the pet stuff. Hawaii is a rabies-free state and they have lots of requirements for bringing pets there, so got started early, and I'm sure glad we did! Matix is always my best helper at the vet, he loves the animals so much. Sometimes it's hard for him to take when the pets seem uncomfortable, so he gives them extra loves.
Then the ride home, they all want to be held.
Father's Day was spent a bit late because Paul was on a trip with his friends. The kids made him love notes and we took him out to eat. Paul is a GREAT dad, I'm so glad I get to parent with him. He brings out the best in me and is always happy to spend time with his kids.
I have a few crystals hanging in the windows to catch the sun and make rainbows all over the house. It makes me so happy to see them everywhere. Sometimes they shine right on artwork. I love it.
Hawken and I went on a date to the bins, and found some fun things, including lots of new dvds for the car, all for less than $10! We also got a little video clip of the rush when the workers bring out the new bins. It's so chaotic.
Once we had an offer received, we still had to leave the house whenever the new family wanted to come through, and measure things, or when the inspection was done, etc. Swishy has never been to so many parks!

Church activities are always a fun place to be in Utah. They do so much! This was one for Solace and Lullaby's age groups. They loved it, and got so silly. Sticking Cheetos onto whipped cream heads (with a shower cap on first)... Three legged and five legged races... Water balloon volley ball with towels... So fun.
They also did a race around the new temple. Solace started out FAST, and slowed down, but made it in 6th place. Lullaby barely ran at all and made it second to last, since she and her friends slowed down and just walked most of the way so they could talk.
Matix and Hawken played "water kickball" and had a blast! Instead of a base, there was a little kiddie pool to jump into.

We had to be out of the house for something with the new buyers again, and spent it at Heidi's house with her girls. They played baseball, and flew kites. Heidi is so sweet to us.
Sister meeting, trying to figure out everything for Dad's stuff. It's all still ongoing which is so frustrating, and tiring, but I'm happy we're all working together and trying our best to be supportive to one another.
Sully and Lullaby had a pool date with me, and then we went to the splash pad after, with a pizza picnic lunch.
This little parenting thing made me laugh out loud. It's true in a lot of ways. Kids, even from the same house, grow and develop so differently.
I logged into my Dad's eBay account to see that it was all closed and no pending anything and saw that he was still "watching" these little Legos characters that he had told me he was planning to get the kids fr Christmas. He was such a good grandpa, even from afar. I miss him.
The church Relief Society activity was dinner and a hike up in the mountains. It was fun and the dinner was delish!
We had friends over for dinner and loved the company. We had a great neighborhood full of nice neighbors there.
Kinzlee got baptized in Farmington and we got to go see her, then we hung out for a picnic lunch with the Kovacs. It's so nice to see them and hang out, but doesn't happen very often.
The Harmers invited us to go watch some bands play in a neighborhood near theirs. Matix bought glow sticks to sell to the kids there, but didn't get as many takers as he had hoped.
Paul's cousin Lauren, and her two kids, Evie and Leto came for a visit. They joined us at the neighborhood band thing, and then stayed with us for a couple days. The kids all reconnected fast, even though they had only met one other time, when we were in Oregon visiting them!
Leto was really into dinosaurs, and their trip was based around visiting dinosaur places, but when he found out about Pokemon, they became an interest too.

Great Grandma Berg came to our church because Hawken was giving a talk. Lullaby and Grandma were matching in their pastel stripes. Hawken did great on his talk and since we got their early I took a picture of him fake doing his talk.
When we got home, Paul's Starlink had arrived! So exciting! He wanted it to be able to do more adventures and use it to get work done while we was adventuring. Internet anywhere, what an idea.

We baked cookies with the Harmers and iced them. The kids were all engaged. Hawken used sprinkles to make a mustache and had us all laughing.
Swishy is such a lover. Even in his old age. I'm so happy he's ours.
We took Lauren and her kids to the Museum of Ancient Life and Leto, especially, was amazed!
Then on to the Butterfly Biosphere to check that out. My kids helped them to each hold a butterfly.
Then to the restaurant for ice cream and lunch, in that order.
Then on to Ashton Gardens for the dinosaur displays they had set up for that month. So fun. Leto was in heaven, except with the coloring of some of the dinosaurs that he said should have been different, in order tp camouflage better. I don't doubt he's right, he was so smart about all things dino!
After that, if you can believe it, we went to The Museum of Natural Curiosity for a while. It was a fun day all around, but long.
Alex flew out to meet Lauren and their family and we all got together for a picnic dinner and then went for a swim in their pool. The triple stack in the pool was the best part. Matix did it with Hawk on his shoulders, and Solace on Hawk's shoulders, so impressive! Lauren got Lullaby and then Evie on hers! Lauren is So much like Paul, it's super fun to watch them interact with each other.

We went with some friends to the Children's Museum and ran into a mermaid who was doing a story time.
Time for new hair. I had an idea, and Devin ran with it, so fun! It's a half and half, but because I wear my part off-center, it always looks like a rainbow!
We took Swishy to the park to see if he'd like it. He played fetch (in slow motion), twice. Then, by the time I got my camera out, he was bringing the ball back and no longer interested. Ha ha ha.
