Matix's first real friend, Dries, was the topic of conversation a lot just before Christmas. Matix all of a sudden remembered him and started talking about him. We sent his family a little gift for Christmas and this note from Matix. When they were three, and four, they loved trains. Both boys were obsessed. I love that he drew a train for Dries. So sweet. We really miss their family.

I remember Dries. They were a sweet family and I bet Petal is really grown up now too. I think it's sweet that Matix is trying to reconnect with his old friend.
