Our first adventure with our friends was up to the North Shore to see the caves at Tunnels Beach and on up to Haena to Ke'e Beach and the beginning go the Na Pali Coast Trail. We stopped at some of the outlooks like tourists. It was fun.
First the dry cave at Tunnels Beach.
Then to the wet cave farther up the road. There wasn't any exploring in that one.
Before going to the beach, we hiked up the first quarter mile of the Na Pali Coast Trail. It was slippery from the recent rains, and muddy, so we didn't make it very far before Solace lost it and screamed to be done. Poor thing.
Even though this is sad, it's one of my favorite pictures of him. It really shows a cute part of his personality. When he is done with something, he is DONE. And this particular activity was NOT his favorite. Poor thing.

On the way back down, as soon as he knew he got his way, he was singing and happy as could be. Such a stinker. He can put on a great show.
Then to the beach for some fun in the sun.
