The Beginning of September

I'm typing this over a year late. This is from September 2022. One day, maybe I'll go back in and edit the dates to match the publication dates. Lullaby joined in with the Activity Day Girls in Great Grandma Berg's church ward, and loved it. They did several activities and were so welcoming to her.

Lullaby loves reading in Grandma's trees.
Uncle Danny came over with his fancy new car and let Kyson and Baylee go for a ride. We teased that they could each use this picture to make girlfriends or boyfriends jealous, as long as no one knew they were actually cousins. Ha ha ha.

Della and Aidan joined us for Lullaby's ice cream treat for her birthday. Grandma Kim and Grandpa Louie send money on the top of the card for ice cream. The birthday kid gets to choose the place. It's so much fun!  While we were there, we watched Saras (via Zoom) getting baptized.

Paul and Lullaby went out to get some camping gear and found a bear. Lullaby's nickname for Paul is Papa Bear, and his nickname for her is Little Bear. So when they see a bear, they need a picture.
Finally, our camper was ready for pickup! Paul and I planned a long unknown-ending trip. I was the one who went to get the camper, and the drive home was WILD. I felt like I was driving a tank down a doll house street. Lullaby was with me and helped calm me down. Every bump came with a new noise and I needed her there to run around and tell me nothing was breaking.

Paul built a little desk stand to go in the RV for while we were on the road. We kept it parked in Della driveway while we got ready to leave.

Hawken got our new license plates on when they came in the mail, and many a game were played in the camper, even though we hadn't gone anywhere yet.

Here is a family drawing from Lullaby, and I LOVE it.

Helping Grandma in her garden picking fruit and veggies is always a party. The kids love it. Cora, Ryan and Megan came this time too.
Spider Man No Way Home was the movie of the day for me and the kids. So fun!

Walking to church with Grandma.

Grandma invited a bunch of the cousins and aunts and uncles over for lunch, and it was so fun to see everyone before leaving on our trip.

We went to a splash park with Cora, Ryan and Megan, not knowing if my big kids would enjoy it, but they loved it as much as baby Cora.  Plus the ice cream truck came by and I happened to have enough cash to buy everyone some treats. Yum!

Lullaby and I went with Della to one of her DUP meetings. She is the cutest.

Aidan came over to check on the progress of his part of the garden, and to his surprise, he had a cantaloupe ready! The corn was ready that afternoon and Lullaby and Matix helped Grandma get it all ready for dinner that night.

Lots of time spent outside on the porch reading Heidi with the kids, and of course the pets want to be part of it too.

A magnet creation that needed a picture before it was destroyed.
Out to eat with Andy and Amy. We love them. We didn't;t get to hang out with them very much at all the last two years that we were in Utah, so when we did, it was special.

Final day of packing the camper so we could go right after Lullaby's birthday. So exciting!

Hawk made Lullaby a birthday scavenger hunt all around the house. She got some new journals, coloring things, Pokemon cards, candy and lots of money. She also got to FaceTime with her best friend Eden, and we called Pops one day early for his birthday the next day.

It's so fun to see Della in all her glory with all her kids, grandkids, and great-grands around!
