love

My kids can be so be so sweet to each other, and I love catching them being like this. So so sweet. Lullaby loves when the big boys include her in their play.

Pounder's Beach

We took the kids to Pounder's Beach in Laie and had the best time. There is a little rope swing, a river that was almost connected to the ocean, and a trampoline out in the water. So much fun. If only this beach was closer to us!

Sully thought about a nap, but woke up after only sleeping a few minutes.

The trampoline is out on what used to be a boat dock. Each time it gets damaged, someone puts up a new one. It's stretched out against the poles from the remains of the dock. Paul swam the three biggest over there (strong currents pushing them back to the beach, so he had to be with them). Sully wasn't happy about being left but he's just not big enough for this one yet.

Best photobomb award goes to Paul. Seriously. The best.

Then back to Haleiwa for Matsumoto's shave ice, our favorite!

And THIS was the sunset as we drove back home through Kunia. Yes please. Such a beautiful place.

Hawaii Love

I love watching these babies play in the waves. We are so grateful to be living here and loving it. It's such a beautiful place.

temple gardens

We watched the Flores girls while Johnny and Makenzie went to the temple. We played in the gardens on the temple grounds, and had a picnic lunch.  It is so beautiful and peaceful there.

We were going to switch, but ran out of time that day. Not the worst place to spend lots of time. Sully even thought about taking a nap. He didn't actually fall asleep, but he rested for a long time.

big waves

Up on the North Shore, watching the big waves together, is such a fun thing to do. We had coconut throwing contests and ran from the waves and cheered for the brave surfers.

splash pad

Having a splash pad in our neighborhood will be something my kids expect now. After Texas, and now here in Hawaii. Any place without one will be quite dull.

temple trip

Paul and I got to sneak out to the temple and spend some time there. It was lovely, and peaceful as usual. We got shave ice on the way home. Yes please. There is no other person that I'd rather be spending my time with.

October fun

Just before Halloween, we got Booed! It was so exciting. It's a fun way to anonymously surprise a friend with treats. Actually, we got Booed twice. But the Flores family was here too, so they got treats too. :)

Then a few days later we Booed some friends too, and it kept on going. So much fun!  The kids loved running back to the car after knocking. It was very sneaky and fun.

Please?

Can I keep him?! Sorry, no. You cannot keep the neighbor's cat.
