We took the kids to Pounder's Beach in Laie and had the best time. There is a little rope swing, a river that was almost connected to the ocean, and a trampoline out in the water. So much fun. If only this beach was closer to us!
Sully thought about a nap, but woke up after only sleeping a few minutes.
The trampoline is out on what used to be a boat dock. Each time it gets damaged, someone puts up a new one. It's stretched out against the poles from the remains of the dock. Paul swam the three biggest over there (strong currents pushing them back to the beach, so he had to be with them). Sully wasn't happy about being left but he's just not big enough for this one yet.
Best photobomb award goes to Paul. Seriously. The best.
Then back to Haleiwa for Matsumoto's shave ice, our favorite!
And THIS was the sunset as we drove back home through Kunia. Yes please. Such a beautiful place.

That trampoline looks like so much fun!
What a great place to hang out. Beach, ocean, river, rope swing, trampoline, trees for shade, what more could you ask for. Oh yah, shaved ice. :)
