We got the kids some poppers and they ran around in the cul-de-sac that day and every day afterward until they were gone. Of course, we had a friend join in too. So fun.
We bought some donuts on the side of the road, yes please!
We went to Ewa Beach Park and hung out with some friends. We played in the waves and on the little playset and had fun while we waited for it to get dark.
Some very friendly people on the beach shared their sparklers with the kids. Like several each! It was very nice and the kids loved it.
We watched the fireworks show over the water in Honolulu. It was very far away, but no loud booms, which was nice. As soon as that show ended, the same people with all the sparklers put on a big show for us right on our beach. It was really fun, and not too scary for the little kids. Happy 4th of July!
