Beginning of December 2020

Girls night watching some trash tv. Yes please. Finding friends in Utah has been tricky for me. Heidi, Amy, and Mandy have been happy surprises.

Chatting with the bestie on FaceTime on his actual birthday day, and breakfast for dinner. Cheers.

Opening presents from Paul. He got him all the supplies to build his own hydroponics. So cool!

More birthday cards coming in! Happy birthday Hawken!

Solace's last pictures with a VERY wiggly tooth, before Matix pulled it out.

Donating blood date with Paul.

New hair coming right up... Switching from blue to green!

Cookie decorating party with Mandy and Macey.

Sunday at home church... Swishy curled up right in front of the screen. Stinker.

Sunday dinner with Great Grandma Berg, always so nice.

Paul's nap hair is the best.

I love the green hair with anything red, it really stands out.

Check up for Swishy, and getting his stitches out. He was mad I brought him back to the vet at all.

Sledding up at Tibble Fork Reservoir. It was so much fun! We met up with the Harmer Family and had a blast as usual.

Christmas cards and gifts from Avia and Pops arrived!

Ski day 1 for Sully and Hawk. They did really well. We stayed on the magic carpet bunny hill the whole time.

Yoga with singing bowls and a gong is the coolest thing ever.

Decorating our ginger bread house for the family (zoom) Christmas party.

FaceTiming with the Anderson kids and catching up. We miss them so much.

It's beginning to look a a lot like Christmas. I love the way our house looks when it's ready for Christmas.

First snow, just a powder, but so lovely.

School activities for the kids.

We started receiving presents from the neighbors and some patients. So I got to work baking cookies and getting ready to share the love back. I love our neighborhood.

My dad asked that I make and mail some cookies to his girlfriend Amanda. She loved them.

Lullaby's hair, double Dutch braids for this girl.

Matix and Lullaby had their first ski day at Brighton for the season. I was impressed with them and their stamina. It was really snowing hard and the magic carpet wasn't working, so they had to hike up and ride down every time. Then we got stuck in really slow traffic on the way down from the mountains.

While playing, Solace ran right into a door frame and got a HUGE goose egg. It went down by the next day, but WOW it was big right when it happened.

Presents from Grandma Kim and Grandpa Louie are ready to go under the tree, and a few extras to open right away. They got to decorating the ornaments as soon as they could.

S'mores with friends in the backyard.

Paul's family Christmas party was online this year. So we dressed up and had fancy drinks and pie while we chatted, attempted a few Christmas carols, and had a fun time.

More and more presents under the tree, so picturesque.

New art for the meditation room. This is Eve, and I love her.

Our neighborhood does so much fun stuff for kids. This one is a gift hiding and finding game. We found one of the hidden buckets, took the goodies, refilled it and redid it another day. So fun.

Outfit of the day, I love him.

Ski day 2 for Matix and Lulli. We took the kids in twos the first couple times to be able to focus on them more individually. They did great again, and the weather was a lot better too.

Paul got me a surprise on the way home, yes please!

Here is where we hid our newly filled basket.

Our neighborhood did a luminary candle walk, with lots of stops for hot chocolate along the way. Super fun.

The kids helped me pick out which cookie cutters to use. This is what they picked...

Cookie decorating with some friends. They made lots of ninja-bread men. Ha ha ha.

Lullaby and Macey got each other some best friend presents. It was so cute to see. Then we went to Claire's to buy some matching besties gifts.

Paul and Hawk got to work building the hydroponic frame. Paul loves doing projects with the kids.

Our first day on the slopes with all the kids. We had great weather and started on the bunny hill, moved up to the small first hill with a lift for Matix Hawk and Lullaby, then on up to Majestic, one of the biggest hills with just Matix. So impressive.

Matix even tried a section through the trees. So great!

I got on a group text accidentally when Matix's friend Ethan got an apple watch. Kids shouldn't have access to them. I got 75 notifications in a 10 minute period. Pass. Ha ha ha.

Christmas cookie wreaths and holly berries, for Paul's work colleagues (after the kids ate a few), so fun!

So many activities! So many comments! That hair color (green) sure brings out your gorgeous eye color! And your cookies, as usual, are beautiful!
