One of my all time favorite things is to put cranky babies to sleep. It is so rewarding to have a sweet sleeping baby in your arms. Thank goodness I have so many friends with babies! :)

That's one of my favorite things too! I think when someone ELSE other than the cranky baby's Mommy takes the baby, they are not stressed, and that calms the baby. It's so nice to be able to help in that way. I got to do that for a very upset Mommy and baby on an airplane once.

I agree with your Mom. Especially new mothers get stressed and don't realize it, but the babies do. Who's baby is that?
