We dropped Sully off at school and headed to the north shore to snorkel at Tunnels with Laurel. But for some reason, the waves were really big that day, and there are NEVER waves there. So we gave it a shot and it was an epic fail. I'm surprised no one got hurt during the whole ordeal. The tide was out, so the reef wasn't very deep, and the waves were knocking us around...
The kids were content to play on the beach a little and Hawken found a watermelon.
This is the face Laurel kept giving me. This is the "how dare you take me here to this awful beach" face. Sorry!
Then quick to see the cave before heading back to get Sully boy. Not the best day of her vacation.
But we did get a great view on the drive home. It's so pretty here.
