The beginning of July marked the start of Costco samples being back out again, and no masks. It was so happy. Lullaby could barely believe it.
Paul built the kids a huge jump pad for the pool. They all loved it, even the neighborhood friends.
Our friends, the Lopes family, came for a visit. They have lots of family in Utah, so we got to be their base camp and they came and went for all the family activities. It was so fun to see them.
We showed Pumpkin a laser light for the first time and she LOVES it. It was so much fun to watch her act like a little kitten.
Lullaby and her friends did a "show" at one of their houses. Afterward, we gave her a lei. So fun.
Solace's new favorite funny face.
We had a 4th of July party at Great Grandma Berg's house. Lots of cousins, food, fun, and even puppies!
We went to Cottonwood Heights with some of Paul's cousins and some of our friends. The big dive wall is everyones favorite.
4th of July fireworks in our neighborhood is so much fun. It's the best show we've ever seen. this time, we invited some of Paul's cousins, and some friends to join us. Woohoo!
More fun with the Lopes family. After the kids go to bed, we stay up and talk and eat and play games. Yes please.
We took the kids backpacking up in the woods. They all carried their own stuff, food, sleeping bags, water, clothes, etc. Except for Solace, Paul carried his sleeping bag. We were so impressed.
We only spent a couple days up there, but it was so nice to be out in nature. We picked flowers and cuddled in the hammock and skipped rocks. It was such a nice time!
Group picture before we left. It was a good trip.
Daniel and Melissa took us to dinner and a show as a thank for letting them stay with us. It was so fun to see Guys and Dolls. We had the best time.
We took the paddle boards down to the lake and played in the hot springs and we all got henna tattoos from Becca. Such a nice summer day.
More time in the pool with friends. Although the pool was a LOT of work, the kids really loved it.
A snack lunch waiting for the kids to finish playing in the pool.
Steph invited us to go to Cowabunga Bay with her and her kids, plus one of Anne's. It was a great day to sit and relax, and float around the lazy river. We barely saw the kids, except when they came in for a snack break and to get more sunscreen on.
