big muscles hawk
While looking at some pictures and videos of the kids at the park, Hawken commented on these. He said, "That's big muscles Hawk." So here he is, big muscles Hawk:
the girl
Cute pics of the wee babe. :) I love having a girl. I had no idea how much I needed one, but I do, and I love our little Lullaby so much. Sunday dress in red. Adorable.

USMLE STEP 2 - PASSED!!!
Paul just got his test scores... and HE PASSED THE USMLE STEP 2!!! He got a great score too. We are SO proud of you Paul and so happy for you! :) This was the last step exam toward licensing! Hooray! He won't take the STEP 3 until he is in residency, so NO MORE TESTS! (at least until then) Email him at ritzcrazycracker@gmail.com to congratulate him if you like! :) Hooray hooray! We really couldn't be more excited!
nice day
Day at the purple slide park. This was the first day Lullaby tried out a swing. The results are in, and she LOVES it. :) Hooray! I was so hoping she would. She smiles and giggles and coos the whole time she is in it.
Playing in the clover. Lullaby loves to run her tiny fingers through the grass and clover. I love watching her. She is so curious about everything right now.
I finally captured some of Hawken's faces. He is very expressive, but also very quick. Always on the go.
Rolling Lullaby in the clover, which she actually loved. She would push her cheeks toward the grass and lay there very still, smiling.

Matix was "selling some tasty ice cream". I bought a lot. :) And, oh, those dirty hands...

flowers
Today is May Day. May 1st. When I was little we had a tradition of making little paper baskets, filling them with flowers and bringing them to our neighbors and friends in secret. We would put the little baskets over their doorhandles or on their front porch, ring the bell and run and hide. A very innocent form of ding dong ditch. :) I wanted to start this with the boys this year, but we simply forgot. Oh well, next year it will be even more fun. In the mean time, here is a picture of a cute little bouquet that Paul picked for me the other day.
Yes, they are dandelions, and yes, I love them. Paul is always brightening my day in one way or another. He is so sweet to me. Reason # 2,342 why I love Paul: he makes me smile even when he isn't in the room. PS, isn't our backyard dreamy? It's pretty much perfect for our family. I love it.

lunch
I love it that the boys are starting to appreciate some of the extra special things I do for them. I put some effort into making lunch time fun, because it's usually just us, and I know I'm not as fun as daddy. :) The boys especially like its they get lots of different foods and if I cut something into a fun shape. This day it was snowflake bread that won them over. :)
Being a mom is fun, and I am loving it more and more everyday. Who knew?
to the zoo
While Stacy was here we went on a few adventures. One of our favorites was to the zoo. This zoo is quite a bit smaller than the Miami zoo, but perfect size for us right now. We still haven't been to see all the exhibits and have been there a bunch of times now - thanks to Stacy for getting us our family pass!! Hooray! These are pictures from our first adventure there.
The boys loved the petting zoo. They had little brushes for the kids to use on the sheep and goats.
The boys being meerkats.
Some more beautiful flowering trees.
It was such a fun day. We are so happy we have a pass now and can go whenever we want!! Thanks again Stacy!
cute baby
I am getting some baby things ready to sell on Craigslist, and Lullaby sneaked her way into one of the pictures. She looked so cute, so I cropped out the playmat that I'm selling and kept the picture of just her. She is a doll baby, even when she isn't smiling.
