Solace is 18 months old!

And just like THAT, this baby is 1 and 1/2. He is our sweet little snuggle bug. I am so glad that he joined us those 18 months ago, our family needed him. Sweet Solace, how are you SO BIG?

Here are some things about him right now…

• Solace has lots of nicknames; Sully, Sully-Boo, Solitos, The Guy
• He only comes when called about half the time
• He is a serious Mama's boy but is branching out more and more tolerating other people holding him
• He loves to run to Daddy when he gets home and gets very sad and frustrated when he isn't the first one to be picked up and cuddled
• He loves to snuggle and cuddle, but only on his terms
• He is very busy and tries his hardest to keep up with his big brothers and sis
• He mimics EVERYTHING they do

• Solace loves to give kisses, and usually begs for one more and one more and one more by whimpering with his lips pursed and ready
• He loves to feed himself and gets CRAZY messy
• He is a good eater, with a few exceptions, like sweet potatoes
• He does not watch TV, but he loves listening to music and sometimes dances to it
• He loves taking his shoes and socks off while driving in the car, just to make more work for me
• He still has his paci and needs it to sleep most of the time

• Sully's tooth is growing in perfectly now and there isn't any sign left from his tiny fall
• Speaking of teeth, he has lots now, all four molars, and four in front on top and four more on bottom too
• He finally decided to walk, and now he runs, and can maneuver up and down small steps 
• He is always playing dress up, especially with hats

• He doesn't talk very much, but will say a few words, including 'banana', 'ball', and 'that'
• He screams bloody murder if he doesn't get his way
• He doesn't have much hair yet, but it curls in the back like Matix's did as a baby
• He takes one nap each day, and sleeps about 12 hours at night, sometimes more
• He still nurses, a lot
• He cries if I hold any other baby or adult, and is crazy jealous
• He loves his siblings, but is especially connected to Hawken
• Sully is very expressive and makes the best faces
• He LOVES to be outside and ride his skateboard and will do anything and everything to stay outside when I call everyone in
• He likes the trampoline, but only when he gets it by himself or with one other calm jumper
• He tries to jump on the ground, but can't go anywhere

We love you our sweet Sully boy! You are the best baby. We love that you're a part of our family. Happy 18 months big boy!
