paddle board

Paul paddled us from our last cove, into Pearl Harbor, then into the lagoon and back. It wasn't too windy this time, so it was a lot easier on Paul.

Once we were in the lagoon, we went over to the dock so Paul could show us these awesome sea plants. They are sensitive when touched and will hide away. So cool!

Then we went back to a little beach in-between and played there for a while. It was a very trashy beach, and although we picked up some trash, there was too much for our one paddle board. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the way the current goes, because our neighborhood beach, which was less than a mile away, rarely had ANY trash.

The kids found giant styrofoam blocks and rode them like horses in the water. What fun it is, to play with trash...
