Christmas Wish

We heard about a sweet little girl named Safyre who had been burned in a fire losing her entire family. She only survived because her dad shielded her with his own body. Her Christmas wish this year wasn't to be healed from the burns on her face or the rest of her body, and it wasn't to be reunited with her family. What she wanted was to fill up her card holder with Christmas cards. We made a family home evening lesson about it, and the kids all made her sweet notes and cards. We mailed them off, and then a few days later Matix made this at school, with a note on the back. "Yo quiero que Safyre se sienta mejor"
He said it means he he wants her to feel better…? This could be wrong. Mom, can you translate? So sweet.

What a neat thing to do with the kids. That was so sweet of Matix. He's so caring.
