We headed to Onekehakeha for a nice January beach day. Paul wore his wetsuit, but everyone else was fine with the water temperature. Stacy and Lullaby headed out first, then Hawken followed Paul. I stayed out with Matix and Solace, while they practiced dribbling, and then spent most of their time reading their new books. Sometimes they act much older than 11 and 6. Ha ha ha.
Then Hawken came out of the water too, and a stranger came up to us telling us he brought down snow from the mauna! Just like we had a few days before. So funny! So we headed to the parking lot where he had unloaded it, and played with a few more kids. So fun.
Eventually the other kids got bored and left, but these boys stayed and erupted into a snowball fight until their hands were completely frozen and red. Gotta love Hawaii snow!
