November - Colorado Trip

Driving away from the sun as it sets is one of my favorites. It's so pretty. We decided on this fast trip to Colorado to bring Jolie back her trailer and visit with her and the Abbajays.

We got there late and the kids fell asleep right away.

The next morning the kids all played with Richard's weights, and then we headed to Jolie's house.

They all watched a movie with Alexandra while Jolie and I talked and then headed outside to play with the scooters and skateboards. Lullaby and Solace even tried using the roller skates with Alexandra's help.

Inside for some video games, and sister time for us!

Paul was working most of the days, so when he got off, we went out with the Abbajays for dinner and said good bye Jolie and her crew.  Then later Jolie and her kids joined us in Old Town for dessert and a walk through the town.

Jolie took the kids for a sleepover and Izzy showed off her new bartender gear she got for her birthday.

Paul and I went to get doughnuts for everyone in the morning, and got the kids, and headed to Denver to a playground with the Lopes family. They live in Colorado Springs, so Denver was a half way point for us both.

Sleeping on the way back to Fort Collins. He takes all the chances he gets when he isn't working.

We tried to stop to see Cris at work, but he wasn't there, so we sent him this picture instead.

Then we headed to get a new book for the kids. So fun.

More fun at the Abbajay's house. Avia cuddles and sitting in the sauna.

Grayson came over for dinner, and it was SO good to see him.

We played phase 10, and somehow I won! These two are professional card players, so I had to take a picture to commemorate the moment.

Paul had taken the kids downstairs to watch a movie, but fell asleep with Matix. Sully and Hawk were still watching and Lullaby was reading her book.

Raking leaves for Avia and Pops is a fun job because then you get to jump into them.

Goodbye to Maddox and Samson, the sweetest dogs ever.

Saying goodbye to Jolie and one last scare. I got her so good that I wanted to take these stills from the video. Ha ha ah.

The cattails are blooming and Alexandra showed my kids how to make the fluff come out. So fun.

Good byes to Avia, whose hair made her look like a lion at the car before we left. We love you Colorado family! Thanks for having us!

On the way home, Paul worked from his phone. We love his flexible schedule. And a video of a few clips.
