November - Paul's birthday

I say it every time there is a chance to celebrate him, but celebrating Paul is so easy to do. He is so wonderful, and we are happy to help him feel special. We started his birthday with some presents. Then after he worked for a bit, we went to the climbing gym.

After that we headed to the skate park and gave him another gift, a new skateboard. He was pretty excited and tried and mastered a new trick in the time we were there. So impressive.

Then back home for Wendy's.  Paul is not a junk food person, but after skating he used to always go out for Wendy's as a kid and so we got it for him.

Then we had a knock on the door and the Harmer's came over with balloons. They made him so happy. The kids played around and we chatted until it was late.

While outside playing, Lullaby caught a mouse that was half killed by the cats and it bit her, and that ended the days of being allowed to pick up wild mice in the yard.

After they left, and Paul and I watched a movie and he fell asleep. I think it was a good day for him.
Paul is a hard worker and a good friend.  He goes out of his way to make sure people feel included, and loved. He doesn't take life too seriously, and sees the world through a very optimistic lens.  He is my best friend, and I'm so glad he was born. Happy birthday Paul!

We love Paul so much, too. You are right: he's someone we all want to celebrate and make him feel special. Because that's how he makes everyone feel!
