Hawken had an early birthday party to make sure some of his best friends could come, and Paul would be able to be there with his work schedule. So, although he wasn't technically 12 yet, we loved his carnival themed party. There were lots of games and tickets and prizes. It was so fun.
Hawken decorated his own cake.
As soon as all the friends arrived, they spun the wheel and got their starting tickets. They used the tickets as payment for the games, and they won tickets from the games too. Then at the end they could turn in their tickets to get prizes. We made sure everyone got LOTS of prizes, even if they didn't have enough tickets. It was so fun.
We ate carnival food, like corndogs, and popcorns and cotton candy.
Matix and Lullaby helped deliver the prizes.
Hawken has made so many friends here and they were so sweet to him. He had a great day and thanked them each for coming.
After all the other friends left, Jonny, his best friend, stayed for a sleep over. We watched a movie in the theater room, and then we all went to sleep.
Jonny got to stay in the morning for a little while and have breakfast and play. Happy party day Hawken!
