October - Snowbird

We headed up to Snowbird and got right into the SNOW. The kids were so excited to see the first snow of the year for us. 

There were lots of babies to cuddle, and games to play, and the heated pool was ready to go for the kids.   We love our time with Paul's family up there at Snowbird. 

See those little people over there? Paul and some of the kids went over there to go sledding. We could see them from the windows of our rooms. 

More game playing and baby snuggles. 

Paul and Steph were being so silly. We really have the best time.

We rotate who is in charge of dinner, but breakfast and lunch are on your own.  This was Anne's night and she also put together escape room games for the kids. I helped the younger kids with their clues. The older kids ran around and solved their puzzle much faster. 

Ping pong in the game room is always a great activity to do.

Barry was the only taker to play against Sully on the Xbox. Such a good sport. 

More games in Steph's room, and then bingo. Hawk was the big winner from our group. 

Baby snuggles. This is Elliot, he's Kim and Juan's baby. So sweet. 

This is Anne's baby, I can't remember her name, but she sure was a cuddle bug. Then a picture of one of Anne's twin girls, either Demi or Delyla. 

More games. We played Nerts, 9-hole, Skip Bo, and a few others. 

The Hunts came up for one night. We swam and played in the game room. 

Matix and Hawk came with me to make some rock necklaces. They have activities nearly every day, and the kids get to chose the ones they want to go to. 

Another snow day means more sledding.

Paul took Lullaby to the basketball courts to build a snow witch, since it was still October! She's riding on a broom.

Tired in the middle of the day. I love it when they still take a nap. 

Paul is such a character. And see that he's wearing a scrub top and snow pants? The ultimate multitasker. He was technically working while we were there. He set up his office in one of our empty rooms and did all his meetings and patient visits in between hanging out with us. 

Baby Cora snuggles. So sweet. 

Baylee and Lullaby were ghosts for trick-or-treating in the hotel. Solace was a snowboarder, Matix was the rake, Hawk was a wolf man, Mason was a soccer player, and Damian was a scary clown. They went room to room and got some candy. Yum!

Headed home. It was a fun trip, we love Snowbird.
