We love White Plains Beach for its little slow waves. It's actually hard to catch them unless you weigh next to nothing, so it's perfect for our kids! Plus the beach isn't ever too busy. We love it.
Paul takes the kids out, either on his board and they ride together, or on my board and they paddle out side by side. Here he's with Hawken, and Hawk is riding my board.
Hawken catches everything, even the tiny slow waves because he's so light!
This is how Solace feels about it when it isn't HIS turn to go out with Daddy. It's rough having to share Paul.
Matix is sometimes allowed to paddle out by himself, as long as conditions are just right. He loves feeling like a big boy and we love helping build his self-confidence. Paul is always nearby with a sharp eye on him.
Paul riding with Matix is always fun to see too. The boys have such good balance! And they always cheer each other on from the shore line.
Hawken catching one solo. He pops up so quick and rides every wave in to the shore.
Potty training is finished and Solace does a great job going potty... even at the beach.
Paul riding a wave in to the shore line. It was quite the dismount!
The partial sunsets from this beach are always so pretty. And seeing these two being best friends is always so sweet. They really love each other.
Sully loves having a sensory experience in the sand. This boy loves the sand, until he hates it, and then he screams and cries until I get every single grain off of him right at that moment before he spontaneously combusts.
Also, I want it noted that there is a serious lack of pictures of Lullaby in this post. She was there both days that these pictures were taken on, yet she is hardly documented in them. I don't know why. She loves surfing as much as the boys do, and is getting really good. She only ever rides with Paul though. Sorry Lulli, I'm sure you were just extra busy with some new friends you made on the beach that day. :)

What AMAZING pictures and videos!
That sunset is beautiful. What a great place for the kids to learn to surf. Looks like so much fun.
