Getting Daddy

Usually Paul meets us at home for lunch, but lately, Matix wants to go get him from school. I love that the boys are so in love with their Daddy. :)

The picture doesn't show how many steps are on the way to Paul, but there are probably 10 little flights like this one with little landings in between each one... It makes for quite the journey, since BOTH boys prefer to do it themselves. :) Matix is very much in the "I can do it myself" phase, and Hawken just wants to do whatever Matix is doing. And yes, Hawken CAN climb stairs by himself...

Sometimes we get there before class lets out and we have to wait... That is the hardest part, waiting. Luckily there are tons of lockers with TOYS hanging from them. :) Well, the boys think they're toys... Whatever works, right?

Norm Jr. is fascinated with those locks too! Maybe I should ship down locks instead of toys for Christmas :)

Toys are where you find 'em. You never have to spend a lot on toys. Kids love real-life stuff.

That is funny because today I was walking by some rows of lockers and Shane stopped to play with them, and one of the professors and her little boy came walking by and she said he always plays with them too- must be a toddler thing! And now that people are taking their locks off, he wants to open and close them too!
