We had a pig roast/early 4th of July party out at the barn. It was so much fun!! All of my sisters and most of their families were able to come. It was perfect. The first nice day out that week, days after Paul was finished with his test and just before we had to leave Wisconsin. Good food.
Fun games too, like the cookie face race, pie eating contests, piggy back relay races, and donut on the string games... So fun! For the cookie face race, Paul won with the boys, and sadly I only got 3rd against all my sisters. :)
Pie eating contests were not very cute, so I'm only sharing 1 picture, it was fun though.
This relay race was Jolie's idea, and oh so clever. :) She told everyone to pick a partner, and THEN announced they would be carrying the partner through the entire course. Ha ha ha! It was down the hill, through the orchard, and in and around a few obstacles. It was great fun to watch.
Baby Ridge was the man of the hour. Everyone wanted a turn with him, he is SO cute. Thanks Kenz for sharing!!

Paul had fun with his fan club. My nephews Hunter and Skyler couldn't get enough of him. :)

Matix and Hawken were gone 90% of the party with their ladies. :) They fell in love with Kyra, Ryelle, Liesl and little Holly. If I couldn't find them, I would just look for the big girls. So cute. The boys still say thank you for them in their good night prayers some nights, even though we have been gone and are around new cousins for a few weeks now.

My dad painted this cut out for us. He is so talented, right?

Here he is himself. Cute pic, I think.
I had to take a picture with my HUGE nephew Alex and his daughter Chloe... All of a sudden all my nephews are men, and are towering over me. It's crazy.
Fireworks and Matix's first sparkler. He loved it and everything else about this party. The boys actually stayed up and didn't get cranky until almost 9!!! What?! Although the next day they were trashed, and totally not themselves.
My friend from high school, Lindsey came down for the event too. She lives in Milwaukee now, and it was SO nice to get to see her before she moves to Michigan. It was just like old times, except now she is getting married and there were kids running around calling me mom. :)
We even got a picture of all my sisters with my dad. It's a tradition that we haven't been able to do in a long time. Left to right (top) Heather #3, Robin #1, Holly #4, Becky #2. On bottom Jolie #6, my dad, and myself #5.
Everyone had a great time. I am so happy we could do some thing like this before we left Wisconsin. It was good to see everyone! We miss you already. BIG thanks to Louie for the use of the barn, and cooking a delicious (but gross looking) :) dinner for us!
