We brought Swishy to Moloa'a Beach to see if he preferred a more deserted beach. Kealia was busy and he seemed nervous there, plus the waves were too big for him.
We went for a hike up to the cliffs, and took Swishy off his leash for the first time. He stayed right with us, running ahead, and circling back. It was awesome! We had only had him for about a month at that time, and we weren't sure what he would do.
At the top of the cliffs we saw nesting albatross! Hawken got as close as they'd let him, but didn't scare them away. It was a really cool thing to see. These birds are SO big.
We got a family pic with Swishy, or tried at least, using the timer on my iPhone.
When we hiked back down to the water, Swishy went right in. I think he prefers not to be splashed, so these tiny waves in the tide pools were just what he was looking for.
Swishy was so happy, running around on the beach with no leash. He's the perfect pup for our family, and we're so grateful to have him.
We love this beach, it is so fun.

I'm so excited that Swishy stayed with you while off-leash, because he had been feral for awhile, right?
