This is a big one, lots of random pics. The kids are learning how to use this propane tank and burner, in case of an emergency, but we might as well make it fun too. So we roasted marshmallows.
Solace made this symmetrical black castle.
In June, the kids all took these free dance classes. Lullaby took ballet, and Solace took a jazz and creative movement class. These two have never been so happy. They loved every second of class.
During the summer, the public schools let all kids (homeschoolers included) eat free lunch and we made a whole day of free activities! So fun. The kids got the hang of it by the end, but it was funny to see our kids not understanding how to do the lunch line.
Another free activity, which goes on all year round, Lego club. Yes please.
Artwork from Lullaby (#1), and Hawken (#2 - fish), and Lullaby again (#3).
Swishy wanted his picture taken too, sweet pup.
We spent a ton of time at the skatepark since it was so near to where the dance classes and pool are.
Solace doesn't nap, not purposefully every day, but on some summer days that are so full of fun, he'd cuddle up with me and take a nap. Yes please.
I ran into Ms. Tejada, Solace's preschool teacher from Kauai! She was on our island visiting for her son's baseball game, and I saw her at Target. Hawaii really is a small place. I love it.
Pictures from the yard. Lovely, as always.
The kids get 15 minutes of screen time everyday and it's the quietest time of day in our house.
Being silly in the store.
Play date with their friends and the two of us snuck away for a date. Always a blast.
Solace has been making HUGE strides with his speech after having Ms. Corrie come to work with him on a weekly basis. She is so good.
Sometimes the kids want to do comparison taste tests, which is so fun. The dark purple grapes won this test, although the last time we did this same test, the green won.
