planting the tree - in Janurary
Somehow I missed posting this. My dad dug the hole for us to plant our Christmas tree in the yard before he left last month. When Paul got home from work, he brought out the tree and the kids helped fill in the holes and feed the tree some water. I love this tradition.

Your Dad still works VERY hard! Wow! Yes, I love this tradition too. :)
Looks like a good spot. It will shade that bedroom window. How fun it will be for the kids to watch it grow.
