rice cereal

Solace tried rice cereal a week or so ago, and loved it! It's not really very tasty, and all the other kids didn't love it very much, but Solace is SO EXCITED about it. After his first taste, he looked like this. Confused and unimpressed.

But then, he tried it again, and thought it was okay. Then the big kids wanted a turn feeding the baby.  He didn't understand what to do as quickly as the others got it, and tried sucking on the spoon at first.

Then Daddy fed him, and by this time, he LOVED it!! He grabbed the spoon away from us several times.

Then it was done, and he cried. Solace... cried! This really doesn't happen all that much, so to see him get upset over food was so funny. The boy likes food! I can hardly wait to start trying other foods with him. Veggies come next.
