black eye!

Just before the end of school. Matix came home with a huge bump on the very far left side of his left eyebrow. He and a friend of his had ran into each other at recess and this was the result. A few days later and the bump had gone away and left init's place was the beginning of a pretty bad black eye. Poor guy. The only tender spot was where the initial bump was, but it sure did look bad. Then a few days later, while we were at a park, he split his lip open and gave himself another bruise there… This is the day of the fat lip and 3 days after the black eye developed.

This is 6 days after the start of the black eye… It's been gone for a while now, and thankfully no new injuries since then.
