Hawk turns 7!

Hawken's birthday party was FUN. He wanted games, and prizes, and lots of kids. He had several kids come from church, and school, and the neighborhood.  We filled up a million balloons, and let the fun begin!

The games were all minute to win it style games and they loved it!

Lots of the other kids brought their Pokemon cards, and Yu-Gi-Oh cards to trade (per Hawk's request).  It seems like every single kid this age loves them!

His friends completely spoiled him with gifts, and he loved every single one of them.  Thank you!

There were lots of snacks and treats for the kids, and then after a while, we had pizza, and then cupcakes. So much fun!

It is safe to say this big 7 year old of ours had a great birthday party. He was so happy with everything that day.

These are his 3 best friends in school. They are all in the same class. Left to right is new Logan, Hawken, new Ryan (there is a real Ryan too, also from Texas), and Hayden. These 4 are the "cool boys" in class according to his teacher. Hawken loves them so much, I was happy they could all make it.

Hawken, you are such a fun 7 year old! You like to follow the rules, and are very structured.  You are very obedient and happy when you make others happy. You are kind and sweet and a good friend. You love broccoli, cooked carrots, and peanut butter and honey sandwiches. You don't like sweets very much, but you'll always try them. You get anxious over things, and like your life to be predictable. But you are getting better at being flexible. You are funny and make up jokes that we all really laugh at. You are caring and tender and we love you SO much. Happy birthday baby! Hawkers! Hawkitos! Hawky Bawkers! You're the best!
