cousin sleepover

Matix and Hawken were invited for a sleepover party at Mason's house, and they couldn't be more excited. This was their first ever sleepover. Ever. I was a little anxious about how they would do, and prepped them a lot before hand. Turns out, they were fine and didn't need me at all.  As soon as we got there they ran off to play with Mason.

Lullaby played dress up with Baylee for a little bit before we left again.  Baylee gave her a few of her old dress up skirts to keep, which Lulli was very happy about. We really only have capes and swords and other "boy" dress up things, so it's nice to have a few girly things now too.

But when we left Lullaby had a meltdown. Poor thing. She screamed and cried (literally) the whole way home. She pointed to her brothers' seats in the car and called out for them.  It was so sad. Poor Grandpa drove us and had to listen her.

Steph took pictures of their night and when they came back in the morning, they couldn't stop telling me all the little details of their party. Popcorn and movies and staying up laughing and watermelon for dinner and everything. :) They really had the best time. Here are the pics Steph took.

I am so happy they had such a great time. Lullaby was totally distraught all night, but then in the morning when she saw her brothers again, she clung to me and shouted. "MINE." Perhaps there was one benefit to the boys being gone and that was she got me all to herself. Thanks Steph for making the night so much fun for the boys! You are the best.
