brave

Matix cut his head on the fortress the other day as he was swinging the swing empty and it came back and hit him on the forehead just right. He came in covered in blood, but a smile on his face. He first reassured me that he was fine, which is very unlike Matix. He usually screams bloody murder if he gets a splinter... But thankfully the cut was tiny and we cleaned it up and the next day it was barely noticeable.  Before during after and the following day pics:

He was the bravest I have ever seen him, ever. Hopefully this is the beginning of some new brave years. I could use a lot less screaming/crying in my life, considering we will have a new crier in the house shortly... :)
