Our 4th of July was a good one! We went back down to Galveston to the Arnold's beach house. It was SO nice. The kids love (as always) speeding time with them.
We headed out to their (mostly) private beach. It was awesome. The big boys stole Michael and Cole and Devin away and stayed neck deep all day long. Sully and Lullaby stayed busy mostly on the shore with Katelin and Crissi. Doug and Paul chatted it up and I took pictures… What's new?
After a long morning and afternoon on the beach, we headed back to their house for some tasty lunch! Katelin is quite the chef! The kids were more excited about the millions of Nerf guns they brought, but it kept them entertained.
Then we went to the community pool. There was a kiddie pool, larger pool, and hot tub. So nice! The kids were loving all the one-on-one adult interactions! They rarely get this, so it was cherished.
Here's a not so group shot of SOME of us. Devin and Cole had already left, and Doug must have been taking the picture. It sure was a fun (and long) day. We left as it got dark and Solace fell asleep before leaving the parking lot of the pool. Seriously. Thanks guys for another fun Arnold/Berg holiday!

What a fun day on the beach and pool! Did the Arnold's come out from Wisconsin just for the holiday?
Yep. It was awesome. Cole and katelin and Devin already live in Texas, but the parents came out.
It IS REALLY a mostly private beach! How nice!
