Lullaby is 4!

Today Lullaby turned 4, and she didn't even know it! Since her birthday party won't be until the 19th, we're not telling her it's her actual birthday just yet. :) It's HARD to wait for birthdays, so we thought we should hold off until it's a lot closer. She is having a FROZEN birthday party, which she started planning moments after her PONY party was over last year.  She loves everything girly, and cutesy, and pink, and sparkly. Even with three brothers (who we thought would make her a lot more masculine), she is just herself. Quirky, march to her own drummer, larger than life, Lullaby.  Things about Lullaby at FOUR years old…

Likes:

• Being in charge, and being listened to.
• Taking care of Solace when he lets her. 
• Going shopping.
• Using the word "mustache" appropriately and inappropriately, it's funny to her either way.
• Kissing her brothers good bye when they go to school, and at bed time.
• Doing ANYTHING with her Daddy.
• Takes selfies.

• Saying the family prayer, or the meal prayer.
• Trying to whistle like a bird, through her teeth, and you can hardly hear it.
• Using scissors.
• Drawing and coloring and writing her name.
• Having her friends come over to play, and for preschool.
• Being a helper, cooking, cleaning, whatever I ask for.
• Dressing up, and playing pretend. She has the best imagination.
• Watching So You Think You Can Dance with me, and says, "That's amazing!" after nearly every trick.
• Catching frogs, and bugs.

• Going camping, and swimming.
• Going to the beach, and she's the only one who doesn't complain about being sandy once we get into the car.
• To take a nap. She'll ask for it when she's getting too tired.
• Her pink cowboy boots. Even though they are getting SNUG.
• Puzzles. She is actually very good at them.
• Babies, alive or dollies, she loves them.
• Wearing make-up. Colored lip gloss and glitter is about it, but she loves it.

Things she does:

• Gets frustrated when she doesn't get her way.
• Folds her arms across her chest and sticks her tongue out when she thinks you're not looking.
• Snuggles, always, after she wakes up.
• Asks for cereal with milk for every meal and snacks in between.
• Hugs her brothers and friends a little TOO hard sometimes.
• Wants to be a ballerina, and a doctor, and a vet, and a mom when she grows up.
• Tells me the names of her future children (usually all daughters), and really dull names.
• Asks how to spell things, even though she can't write all the letters to do it herself.
• Is very complimentary of everything, and uses words like "darling", and "adorable" to describe things she loves.
• Bites her nails.
• Goes to bed at 7, easily, although sometimes she will get in trouble for getting out of her bed to give Solace extra kisses.
• She can be very patient and waits for loooong periods of time when asked to.
• She poses for the camera, like really funny poses. She loves attention.
• Changes her outfit several times each day, depending on her mood.
• Sleeps with her special yellow blankie, and her 5 most special babies.
• Talks to me about preschool (as if I wasn't there all day for preschool).

Dislikes:

• Rules when she doesn't make them.
• Daddy's long work schedule.
• Being dressed all the time.
• When others get hurt, it makes her sad too.
• Getting her hair brushed when it's tangly. 
• When I chose her outfit for the day.

Lullaby is our princess baby and she is the perfect one. She is such a nice combination of sassy and sweet.  She is so loved and adored by us. I am so happy to watch her as she grows. We love you Lullaby Loo!  Happy Birthday!
